A late-in-the-game re-route of the course did not take away from an amazing group of all abilities from across the country coming together to make another memorable year for our Got the Nerve? Triathlon.  The Tri supports the mission of The IM ABLE Foundation and is one of IM ABLE’s largest fundraisers to keep everyone, especially those affected by disabilities, up and moving!

Thank you to all of our volunteers, emergency personnel, the town of Mt. Gretna, PA, and our sponsors for making our 14th annual race one for the memory books!!

Congratulations to Bob Feryo as this year’s recipient of the Tom Kaag Memorial Volunteer Award!  Bob’s hard work as a volunteer and coordinator over the years has been unparalleled, and we appreciate his dedication to IM ABLE year after year!

Little Kaag rallied all day, but the rolling, gentle curves of the Mt Gretna roads were too much for his sleepy eyelids… Naps were inevitable!

This week, we’re ramping up for Got the Nerve, which will take place on Saturday 5/20.  This is our 14th year at GTN, a fund-raising triathlon Chris started immediately after graduating from college.   Funds raised go towards awarding grants and sponsoring adaptive programming throughout the year!  Please excuse any mess or crowding of the gym space during the week, as there is a lot of prep work that goes into this awesome event!  Thank you to all who have volunteered your time, and good luck to all CFers who plan to participate!!

I’m so proud of our IM ABLE Foundation team and honored they took on the challenge of the NYC Marathon to support IM ABLE’s mission of getting as many people MOVING as possible! Despite some challenges, everyone maintained the Can-Do attitude and completed the goal they set out to accomplish. So great to be in the middle of the energy of the day while tracking and supporting all of our athletes! Congratulations Zach, Brett, Devann, Karen, Sam and Cathy (not pictured)!!!
