Wednesday Form – Lunge In

Lunge form: Big step out to the front, keep knee behind toes.  Back knee goes all the way down to the ground.  Back straight, keep the head up, chest open.

Common faults: Dropping the head, rounding the shoulders,

Try: Keep your hands behind your head during lunges, elbows up.  This will force shoulders to be open and head up / chest out position.  Make sure your form is solid before increasing speed.

Remember, this form should be used EVERY time you’re doing lunges.  Scissor lunges / walking lunges / step-ups with a lunge… you name it!
