Wednesday Form: Lock down

“You gotta lock down the midline, flat back, don’t give it up.” Posterior!

    Just saw this combined exercise on another site. Definitely need to add this so Chris can send us out to run for screwing it up…

    Burpee – Clean – Squat – Thruster

    Get a pair of kettlebells and set them at your feet. Do a burpee with your hands on the KB handles, kick your feet back up and clean the bells to a full squat and then shoot up with a thruster. Repeat for time, reps, dizziness…whatever.

    Deadlift with kbell really found the weak spot in my lower back. Would like to try again w/ lighter weight.

    Mentioned this to a few other CFers – throwing it out here for anyone interested.
    The Organic Trade Association has a nice database of products of its members. I searched in December for organic beef jerky and found Golden Valley. You can buy directly from them, but I found GV on Amazon, too. If you order a monthly subscription of a certain qty, you get a 15% discount. For ex, we order 8 3-oz pkgs to be delivered once a month – comes out to $1.38/oz. Not a bad price at all, esp for a certifed organic product.
