Very nice memorial to Pags today. Very emotional but a fitting tribute and goodbye to a great guy.

Couldn’t agree more. We all miss you Kyle.

Yes, wonderful tribute. I’m honored to have known him. I only hope Pags will continue to look after me when I need that extra push during a workout 🙂

It was a great tribute and fitting goodbye. Pags will continue to be a part of every workout and we will honor him more than just today. Please continue to keep Alecia and Pags’ family in your thoughts and prayers; there will come a time when they need us and we will be there.

This has been the first time I have lost someone close to me, and I can’t tell everyone at CF how much it means to be surrounded by the CF family through the whole ordeal. I guess it hits hard because Kyle and Alecia were at a point in their lives very similar to where Chris and I are, and it was all taken away from him in an instant. It isn’t fair, it isn’t right, and we’ll never know why. But we do know that we have each other and we will never forget the impact Pags had on our lives.

From where we sat in the bleachers, many of you were in our purview as we looked toward the stage. I can’t begin to express how comforting it was to see all of you in that context and be surrounded by such familiarity. I love you guys so stinkin’ much, and I feel very lucky that Kyle was and will always be an integral and defining part of what makes CF so extraordinary – the people.

In Pags’ memory, let’s keep that gym rockin’! Pass the hard-boiled eggs and almonds….

Today, I felt honored to know Kyle and to be a part of the CF family. The service was a beautiful tribute to our hero. My goal is to think about Kyle every time I run and to honor his memory by doing my best and never “mailing it in”.

It just eats at me that I couldn’t make it today…although as I said before, I didn’t know Kyle well, I just so wanted to be there…I thought of all of you constantly throughout today and of course, especially Alecia and the whole Pagerly family. Honestly, I have had since learning of his death and up to now, a very hollow feeling, and the only thing I want to do right now is be at CF…working out – channeling sorrow through something I know Kyle held dear to his heart…and being surrounded by all of you. I reiterate Jan’s sentiments completely…whether I know you a lot or a little, you are all my family, you will continue to be my family and for that I am extremely grateful. Nothing can take away the extreme sadness of losing Kyle, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers…

I can still remember when Kyle first started coming. I thought to my self “Who is this little sh1t?” Then all I ever saw was the back of his shirt on any run. I am so glad that I am lucky enough to call him a friend and CF brother. I am also humbled to be part of the family that makes CF what it is.

There is strength in numbers, especially numbers with a singular purpose and mindset. Today was another example of the reach that the CF family has in my life and in our community. I guess one of my big take-aways from today was the unselfishness with which Kyle lived his life was reflected back to me in the way you all live your lives too. Service and support to and for each other in an effort to enhance the world around us…if there is a truer way to put a face on what you all stand for in my eyes, I don’t know what that is! speechless….heartbroken…..what a HERO we had in our Pags! How many of you used to try to catch that right calf marked 26.2? aaahhhh. Fast little bugger!

Every single one of you are phenomenal & together it was a powerful force. I had no idea where you guys were sitting. I just walked around & felt compelled to walk in to the seats at the specific entry. There you ALL were. That’s saying something!

I know you all have Alecia in your thoughts. Please continue to pray hard for her, the baby, and Jynx. She will need us. I have no doubt that all of you will step up to the plate when help is needed. Don’t worry, I will be calling on you guys for that!

This made me smile, and I thought as some of his workout family, you would all appreciate it as well. Mere went with me to the doctor to make sure everything is going ok with the baby. While listening to the heartbeat during the ultrasound, the baby moved around so much the tech had trouble keeping up with it . Mere and I are pretty sure he/she was already doing sit ups. Kyle is DEFINETELY alive in our baby!
