Tuesday Attitude: Efficient Intensity

Great thing about our workout style is that you can do it even when you’re in a pinch (at home, at a park or traveling).

1) Less is more: Even while traveling you can hit a globo-gym…and get in and out in 25 mins…warm-up, 21-15-9 (KTE, HP, Box Jump) and some hill sprints. Done. The folks trucking it out on a treadmill and lifting weights for 60 minutes…that’s great for them if that’s their thing…but our thing is RESULTS…and that only comes from High Intensity Training…fact.

2) “Anytime, anyday, anywhere”  -Nat King Cole: We do high intensity athletic conditioning b/c the overall athleticism developed transfers to many, many contexts from competitive sport to military/law to household chores…always ready to go; athletically prepared for everything!

OK. I give up. Where’s JD working out, Fitness 19? It looks like a grocery store parking lot in Maryland (410). And who was taking the pics?

Yep. Fitness 19 in Columbia MD. Soccer tourney. Not a speck of chalk in the whole place – guess they didn’t want getting anything too dirty!

Those boxes (or box-shaped frames) were scary! Was so afraid my toe was going to clip the edge and I’d be out the window.

seems like I have to come to the blog to remember what my friends look like….anyway – any thoughts of exploring the “idea” of a speed class or “express class” – need a workout, get in get out kinda thing in between dropping off and picking up kids from their practices…. 25 min to 1/2 hr class?

Could that “workout” include sitting around the conference table drinking beer?
