Tuesday Attitude …Be Prepared

Only 8 days until Hero Week… are you prepared?  Like several mentioned yesterday, preparation is key to a successful week.  PLAN your week – will you do all 7 or fewer?  SCALE the workouts – you aren’t cheating, you are pushing yourself just as hard as the guy or gal next to you.  DON’T GET RHABDO – it’s bad!

    Prepared, too, to celebrate the CorpsFitness spirit. Which, to me is the entire point of HW. For those who created HW, the workouts are secondary to coming together and sharing time, a laugh, a cry, a struggle, a special effort…that’s HW’s purpose.
    And that spirit is made of many, many special characteristics…but the most telling, again to me, is this:
    When it comes to sharing sandvests, taking turns on boxes, grabbing DBs b/c the bars are all taken, and on and on, CFers don’t say “have to” they say “want to.” Truly, genuinely helpful, generous, and selfless.
    If perhaps you are new to CF or don’t attend “Corps Fitness” classes or are just dropping in over a holiday visit…prepare for selfless suffering.
