3) Open CrossFit times: Tuesday/Thursday 630am. Warm up/WOD/Skills posted. Coach on duty. Great opportunity to do some classic Xfit WODs, get some baselines, and work skills.
4) Doing things right. When explanations and demos are happening avoid just “looking and listening”…take the time to actually “see and hear.” Every point of the demo is important, maybe where to have shoulder, knees, hips. This might take going beyond watching the overt movement, to seeing many subtleties.
See what is going on in the movement, and hear the cues. Then internalize them into your own guided self-talk.
Pursue perfection…focus on constant improvement. Have high standards (Xfit std) for the reps you accept. If you have any questions about the Xfit way, ask a Coach (Chris, Gretch, Eric, or Matt) for some extra pointers on the Xfit form before/after class.
