Monday Did You Know??

Men’s Fitness Magazine recently published a list of the 6 most brutal CrossFit WODs.  Making the list are the Filthy 50, Fran, Murph, The 7, Ryan and King Kong.

What do you think are the toughest workouts?  Mentally or physically or both?

There have been issues with comments not posting to the blog – if your comments don’t show up, email Gretchen.

    Crossfit fav WOD’s for me
    1) Murph (hate it, really hate it with the vest)
    2) Filthy 50 (phreakishly bad)

CF special event WOD’s– honorable mentions
1)The Sickness (call 911 and someone did this with the flu–yikes)
2)Scorcher (Only cool Phools do this one with dress shoes on–damn)

Every named workout is brutal but what is torture for one person isn’t necessarily for another. Shoulder stuff kills me.

CF workouts that are mentally challenging for me are Shoelace and the group bar run – always gets me but it’s also always motivating!

Murph is definitely a tough one but in an awesome way. The mental aspect of CF workouts are challenging, and I’ll never forget Eric’s Sunday workout of 100 thrusters with box jumps at the top of every minute. Brutal!

XF workouts in general are hurdles for me. Unless it’s for Hero Week or another special tribute, XF workouts makes my head spin. The mental challenge then turns into physical sludge.
