KAP Kids Push Themselves at Corps

Last week a group of 16 kids were welcomed at Corps Fitness for 2 days as part of the KAP Program. All of these kids are from 13th & Green Elementary School in Reading. The Kids Against Pressure (KAP) program is an after-school program that serves 10 to 20 students in each of five elementary schools in the Reading School District. The focus of the program is to enhance self-esteem & to develop social skills to help build positive peer relationships. During the school year, KAP students learn about self esteem, bullying, conflict resolution, tobacco prevention and drug & alcohol prevention.

Corps Fitness was a good fit with KAP’s focus in conjunction with ours- “RAT”: Respect, Accountability and Teamwork and demonstrated the importance of utilizing these three simple concepts. Check out our other pics

Sincere thanks to our friends at Fromuth TennisĀ for helping make this happen for these deserving and motivated young kids.

The Children are the future, helping them find a path that is self-fulfilling versus self-defeating is truly noble, and righteous work. There are always hard lessons to learn in life and when children can be exposed to the idea that hard-work equals results it paves the way for a life well-lived!! Truly humbling indeed! Nice work Kaag!!
