A seed on a window sill is still a tree but will not grow, but a seed in the soil will become a tree. Growth only happens in the right environment” – Myles Munroe

Corps fitness is that environment for everyone to grow. The family atmosphere, the culture and the love in this place makes it a great work environment. Love it here, the place where purpose is fulfilled

My enlistment in the United States Army has helped shape me into the person I am today. Along with instilment of brotherhood and camaraderie, the Army has made physical fitness and integral part of my life. As an Army Sergeant one of my priorities was maintaining the fitness and well-being of my soldiers, and I continue to use this mentality as I lead and instruct others in workouts that focus on improving strength, flexibility, and functional range of motion.
Sara first came to one of the intro classes at Corps Fitness in October 2013. Her curiosity about CrossFit and her frustrations with her fitness progress doing just treadmill and elliptical workouts pushed her to try it out even though she was convinced she wasn’t ready or fit enough for CrossFit yet. Even though she was sore for a week after her first class, she was hooked. One of the things she loves most about working out at Corps Fitness is that everyone looks out for everyone and that any workout can be modified to any fitness level. Sara’s favorite exercises are “anything heavy with a barbell” and her favorite workout is Fight Gone Bad. Sara earned her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate in July 2017 and recently completed the CrossFit Adaptive Training Specialty Course.
Marshall got his start in Corps Fitness when Chris still taught classes in area parks and fields. Encouraged by Chris, Marshall entered the Got the Nerve Triathlon and since then competed in many triathlons up to the Half-Ironman Distance. Swimming the San Francisco Bay from Alcatraz is one of has favorite race memories. He teaches Functional Fitness for Runners, and Spin and Krank Class that incorporates spinning/kranking, plyometrics, and low-impact circuit training. Marshall also coaches Cross Country and Track and Field at Berks Catholic High School and is the owner of Peak Coaching.
