IF The Shoe Fits…
Intermittent Fasting (IF) has been correlated with increased longevity, lower illness, and positive changes in overall health. Is IF right for you? You don’t have to go all out on the first attempt. Start by narrowing your eating window. If you feel good, narrow it further until maybe you’re going a full 24 hours without food. Figure out what works for you and go from there!
Mark’s Daily Apple has a great article on different types / styles of IF, how to prepare, etc. Make sure you are starting from a sound nutritional foundation! Here’s another MDA post about the differences found between males and females who try IF.
The Daily Burn has another on the basics, science behind it, etc.
IF you’re interested in IF, try it out for a day when you can control what you have and when you eat. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, stay busy, and if it doesn’t work, try again another day.
