Hero Week Reviews 2 & 3.
Last shout outs:
Thanks to the Marines for sharing their stories and memories.
Thanks to the Keystone Wounded Warriors for their important work (about $1500 was raised which goes directly to basic living conditions and job searching for these vets).
Thanks to all of you who care and make it happen.
Great song choices, MD. Thank you for getting all this footage and putting these vids together! There’s nothing like sharing these moments in real time, and having them saved as a reminder of who, what and why is fantastic for posterity’s sake.
Matt – awesome coverage with capturing all the blood, sweat and tears that went into this week.
Awesome Matt! Nice work.
Nice work to everyone working it out!
Great memories to put in the history books, indeed.
My favorites are Mrs. Pags on the final day and Capt. Johnson telling his stories!
On the light side, my favs are Ed lying on the floor in the video behind Van (during Helton).
And that massacre of OH walking lunge on the hot macadam. That was something else!
Anyone else have a fav moment?
My favs were:
Tuesday nights slaughter on asphalt
Jack D getting the unit coin from Capt. Johnson
Presenting Mrs. Pags with the signed poster and last but certainly not least on the lighter side….
SSGT Buckles tribute to the surviving wives….
Still on a Hero Week high! Tried to explain it to people down here but, words just don’t do it justice. Great videos, MD!
I’m in Hero Week withdrawal…I feel like the Bride the day after her wedding…so sad it’s over. What’s everyone doin’ next week? 🙂
Fave part was being a part of a massive 70+ group on Saturday working in awesome synchronicity for a great purpose. Seeing the video of everyone in formation doing jj’s and b&t’s all together is awesome!
I’m in withdrawal too… Every week should be Hero Week!
One of my favorite moments was hopping / skipping / jumping over the 70+ other people on my way to and from the runs on Saturday… And seeing Mrs Pags out there on the quick step on Sunday kept me going!

The range of emotion from the beginning of the week to the end. It’s hard to think of anything other than Hero Week when in it. The range of physical anguish throughout the week-almost got used to it.
Great videos Matt. I appreciate the time you put into these memorials.
