A favorite rule of eating I heard many moons ago….

“If it wasn’t food 100 yrs ago, it ain’t food now.”

Although sugar was “around” it certainly wasn’t in the quantity and forms it is now. And after 16 hours of plowin’ fields and baling hay, a bit wouldn’t kill ya. Fast forward to today, and it eventually will. The billions spent annually on Type II diabetes treatment and side effects could be erased overnight by lifestyle improvements on diet and exercise.

I’m all for “live and let live” but not when I’m paying for it!!
