Friday Food for Thought

Join us for a motivating menu of WODs. A steady diet of beat-downs! Challenge your intestinal fortitude. Eat some pain to remember and honor the Fallen. (insert other food paronomasia here)

August 4th to 10th…Hero Week! Here’s some info to chew on…like the HW Past Page:

We’ll start on Aug. 4 with a BIG group WOD, and end on Aug. 10 again with a BIG group WOD. In between, each day has regular class times, plenty in fact, to try to get all 7!

Hero Week is just a remarkable experience, that truly has to be experienced to understand. So come on out. Even if you can’t do the WOD that day…just stopping by the gym and cheering on CFers, or listening to the Hero Story is participating. Remember, we don’t do this for us…we honor the fallen and re-assure the families that these warriors really are “fallen not forgotten.”

August 10 (the finale) we’ll be accepting donations to the Kyle Pagerly Memorial Foundation. Kyle lives on through that fund which supports many of his interests whether K9 training or LEO fitness.

Also, Aug 10 please plan on staying after for some refreshments, socializing, and prizes. Again, even if you don’t make the 9am WOD that day, stop by at 10a for some fun!

I’m amped for Summer HW ’13…it’s gonna be a good one!

Bring an appetite for intensity! Some challenging HERO WODs lined up…all new (unfortunately that list grows), except for the HW Repeat (Santora).
Get ready for 7 days on!
    See you then!

Good luck all you Phreaks during this Hero Week…and when things get tough and the pain seems too great, be like the Mule…

"A mule is an enduring animal, he will bear fatigue and cold, and heat and hunger and abuse. He will go without food and sleep, and the harder the toil and the greater the hardship, the more patient he becomes." _Lt. Joseph Sladen
